inagural Pig pickin at gilliard farms

In collaboration with White Whale Craft Ales in Savanna, we will be hosting our 1st Annual Pig Pickin' here at Gilliard Farms in dear partners in crime, Jason and Jocelyn Piccolo

We will be roasting up local farm-raised hog and serving locally farmed and harvested veggies as well as other fine goodness. As always, we'll have a few familiar faces in the craft world along with us, offering beverages;

Due to limited parking at the farm, White Whale will be arranging transportation to and from the event.

4pm - Party Bus departs White Whale Craft Ales, Savannah

5pm - Arrive at Gilliard Farms in Brunswick

6pm - 7pm - Cocktails and Dreams

7pm - 9pm - Dinner and Dorking

9pm - Party Busy departs Gilliard Farms

10pm - Arrive back at White Whale to give you back to Savannah!

Gullah Geechee Heritage Festival

Music, dance, traditional foods, and craft celebrating 450 years of West African influence in St. Johns County.

Performers include the Geechee Gullah Ring Shouters, Nan Nkama African Drum & Dance Ensemble, Doug Carn, and Amy Alysia & the Soul Operation.

Our own CheFarmer Matthew Raiford, will be doing a cooking demonstration and book signing after.

Andrea Cayetano-Jefferson of Gullah Sweetgrass Baskets will demonstrate her basket-weaving techniques and sell her works.

Free to attend with food and beverage available for purchase.

This event benefits the SEA Community Resource Center.
